Norman Eugene Bourquein, age 94 of Batesville, Indiana passed away on March 11, 2024. The son of Earl & Flora (Mahaffey) Bourquein was born on October 13, 1929 in West Harrison, IN.
Norman graduated from Whitewater High School in Franklin County. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Batesville Ward. He worked as a project manager for Procter & Gamble for many years before retiring from the company. After retirement Norm and Cherryle traveled extensively visiting all 50 states, and Canada and Mexico. They always enjoyed seeing new places and also spent many winters at their home in Jensen Beach, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Cherryle (Stephenson) Bourquein; children; Stephen Bourquein (Micah), Brenda Berry (Dann), Diane Stroud, Lisa Back (Terry), Renee Watkins (Pete) and James Bourquein; grandchildren, Cameron Bourquein, David Sawyers, Bryan Sawyers, Billie Newton, Wyndi Stacey, Bradley Back, Kyle Back, Rachel Back, Kari Roberts, Kayla Robertson and Laina Bourquein; 12 great grandchildren; and one sister Marilyn Brown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lavonne Wallace, Marie Craft, Ellen Suhre and Violet Winters, plus one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 with visitation prior from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. all at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Batesville Ward, 422 N. Township Line Rd., Batesville, IN 47006.
