Norma Lee Heeke, 92, of Aurora, IN, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
She was born Wednesday, September 30, 1925 in Guilford, IN. daughter of the late William Cook and Leora Jacobs Cook.
At the age of 55, Norma Lee started working at Dearborn County Hospital in the laundry and central supply, she was there for over 42 years.
She was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church, and she also attended the First Baptist Church in Manchester. NormaLee farmed for many years, picking strawberries from acres of berries. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, and sewing, as well as collecting baskets,dolls, and teddy bears.
Surviving are sons, Jerry Heeke of Aurora, IN, Garry (Cathy) Heeke of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Bobbie (Dennis) Jackson, Chris (Christa) Heeke, Matt (Melissa) Heeke; great-grandchildren, Adreanna, Jacob, Megan, and Logan Heeke, Noah, Avah, and Skylah Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Robert Heeke and several siblings.
Friends will be received Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 12:00 Noon- 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
