Norma Jean Craft

Norma Jean Craft, of Sunman, was born on June 25, 1932 in Batesville, the daughter of Raymond and Lydia Walter Hornberger.  She married Grover Craft on September 16, 1950 at St. John Lutheran Church-Hubbell’s Corner, and he preceded her in death.  Norma was a stay at home Mom and put all her efforts into her kids and family.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church-Hubbell’s Corner and the Dearborn Adult Center.  Norma loved bingo – but only if it was free bingo, and she enjoyed attending dances.  On Friday, March 10, 2017 at the age of 84, Norma passed away at Dearborn County Hospital. 

 

Those surviving who will cherish Norma’s memory include; Donna (David) Hall of Dale Hollow, TN, Kenny (Kim) Craft, Jerry (Peggy) Craft and Sandy (Jesse) Davis, all of Sunman; 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David M. Craft, and a brother, Irvin Hornberger. 

 

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church-Hubbell’s Corner.  Pastor Tom Frey will officiate the service at 1 p.m. and burial will follow in Evangelical Union Cemetery.
