Nora L. Montgomery, age 94 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Born March 20, 1925 in Dale, Indiana the daughter of Christopher and Mary (Leathco) Stone.
Nora graduated from Spencer County High School, worked for US Shoe Company for over 45 years. Married Henry Montgomery November 15, 1941. Member of First Presbyterian Church in Harrison for 77 years and Marvin Chapter OES #376.
Nora is survived by her sister Jan Gorsuch of Tavares, Florida. Aunt of Jeff (Diane) Stone, Crystal (Terry) Garrett, Deborah (Steve Marshall) Brown, Robert (Joanna) Gorsuch, Ronald Otto, Kenneth (Carol) Otto, Richard Gorsuch and Christie (Chuck) Spicer. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Mary Stone, husband Henry Montgomery and siblings Glendyl Stone, Ronald Otto and Ida Irwin.
Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. followed by Eastern Star service at 7:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 10:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church Harrison with Rev. Dr. Joshua Long officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
