(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Community School Corporation says salads will not be served in any of its cafeterias in August.
School officials say since all of the sources of the nationwide cyclospora outbreak haven’t been confirmed, they are limiting cafeteria choices for the time being as a precaution.
“We will keep you updated regarding September and beyond,” the district said in a statement.
BCSC starts classes on a rolling schedule: grades 1,2,4,5,7,8,10, 11 and 12 will report on August 11; Pre-K, Kindergarten and grades 3,6, and 9 will be in school on August 12, and all grades attend on August 13.
