VERSAILLES, Ind. — Two new troopers reported for duty at the Indiana State Police Post in Versailles.
They are two of the 55 new troopers reporting to their districts after graduating from the 76th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy.
Trooper Trevor Tucker, 23, is a 2011 graduate of Batesville High School and Trooper Derek Eggers, 25, is a 2010 graduate of Columbus North High School.
The new troopers will undergo a 3 month training with a field training officer.
After the training the troopers will receive their own vehicles and will be assigned patrols in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties.
