Batesville, In. — The Batesville Memorial Public Library Board of Trustees has introduced Kim Porter as the new Library Director. Porter takes over for long-time director Mike Kruse. Porter, who has previously been the Director of the Osgood and Greensburg public libraries, will begin her duties on January 8th.
Board of Trustees President Mark Stenger said, “We are very fortunate to have a librarian of Kim’s education and experience leading our institution”.
Kruse retires after having spent the past 23 years as library director and will complete his term at the end of January 2018.
