The North Decatur cross country teams traveled to Shelbyville on Saturday and competed in the Small School Invite against some of the best teams and runners in class 1A and 2A in the state.
Leading the way for the Lady Chargers were a pair of juniors in Rileigh Hash (25:54) and Norah Amberger (25:57).
LaShay Dwiggins (26:37) and the freshman combo of Emily Baldwin (26:59) and Makayla Tebbe (27:25) rounded out the scoring for the Chargers.
Also contributing with solid efforts were senior Emerson Gunn (29:24) and Jessie Biltz (31:46).
Leading the Charge for the boys team was freshman Fletcher Hash with a time of 20:29, followed by juniors Jayden Lawrence (22::49) and Clayton Ruf (23:14).
Freshman Declan Kellems ran his best time of the young season setting a new PR at 23:26.
Rounding out the scoring with solid times for the Chargers were Logan Summey (25:32) and freshman Elliott Barber (26:44).
ND returns to action on Thursday at the South Decatur Invitational, followed by the annual Rushville Invite on Saturday.
