Nathan Wuestefeld

Nathan A. Wuestefeld, 71 years old of St. Peter’s, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Nathan loved his life in the St. Peter’s area, only moving across the road from the farmhouse where he was born and raised. He attended St. Peter’s Grade School and graduated from Brookville High School.

For 35 years, Nathan drove a truck for Hill-Rom and logged nearly 4 million safe miles. In his tenure he drove to the contiguous 48 states and on vacation he made it to Alaska and Hawaii. Nathan and his family loved to travel to the Great Smoke Mountains in the fall where they would hike and he would do a little trout fishing. Around the house Nathan was always tinkering with something, fixing things around the farm, including learning the art of growing grapes and making his own wine. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the St. Joseph American Legion Post 464 for 51 years.

Nathan will be dearly missed by Judy, his wife of 50 years; his children Tina (Chris) Werner and Tim (Teresa) Wuestefeld; grandchildren Tyler, Victoria, and Trenten; sisters Clarice Conroy, Lois Lunsford, and Connie (Daren) Lattire. He is preceded in death by his brother Rodney Wuestefeld and parents Florence & Henry Wuestefeld.

Visitation for Nathan will be held on Friday, October 27 at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home. Rosary will begin at 4:45pm followed by visitation until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 28 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 10:00am with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Peter’s Church and will be accepted at the visitation or can be mailed to the funeral home.
