Nancy Louise Taylor Brown, 88, passed away on October 17, 2026.
Nancy was born in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Clarence Marion Taylor and Bertha Lucille Tanner Taylor. She graduated from Greensburg Community High School in 1956.
On May 27, 1956, Nancy married Robert L. Brown. She was dedicated to serving her community and spent 13 years as the Decatur County Treasurer.
Nancy is survived by her husband; her daughter, Nanette (Earl) Six; granddaughter, Erica (Edgar) Cruz; grandson, Robert Wegler; and great granddaughter, Marianna Cruz. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Roberta Brown, Robin Wegler; sisters, Marian (Ed) Badgley, Rosemary Frazer; and brother, John Edward Taylor.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 11am until the time of the funeral services at 1pm.
