Nancy L. Allen, age 82 of Batesville, Indiana, died Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville. Born January 10, 1940 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Viola (Nee: Schmid) and Ernest Borgman. She was a former nurse’s aide and a homemaker. Nancy was a former volunteer with the American Red Cross and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
In her spare time, Nancy loved to relax and watch movies and had a love for cooking, baking and anything to do with trolls. She had a love and good taste for all types of music and she enjoyed the times that she spent Walmart shopping with her sister. Her true passion though was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her grand dogs Sophie, Daisy, Heidi and Echo.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Fullenkamp of Batesville; sons Gary Allen of Aurora, Indiana and Brian Allen of San Francisco, California; sisters Margie Behlmer of Batesville and Linda Denninger of Fishers, Indiana; brother Ronnie Borgman of Greensburg, Indiana; grandchildren Gary Lee Allen, Jason Allen, Derek Allen and Corey Fullenkamp; great grandchildren Avery, Jase, Garret, Carter and Zane Allen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-spouse Ronald Allen and her brothers Eugene and Jim Borgman.
In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, with Rev. Stan Pondo officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in Osgood, Indiana. Online condolences can be made at www.weigelfh.com
