Multiple agencies search for two young boys in river

Lawrenceburg, IN — Sheriff Richard K. Jones with the Butler County Ohio Sheriff’s Office reports on Sunday they were requested to assist the investigating agencies in the search for two young boys killed in separate cases. The investigation is centered in the Lawrenceburg Indiana area near the Ohio River.

The search was a coordinated effort of volunteers and multiple law enforcement agencies, from the air, horseback and on the ground, volunteers and law enforcement continued the search for 6-year-old James Hutchenson, whose mother killed him and then threw him in the river in the Lawrenceburg area last weekend, and 4-year-old Nylo Lattimore who has been missing from Hamilton County since December and is believed to also have been thrown in the river by the man that killed his mother.

Sunday’s search focused on the riverbanks between Lawrenceburg and Aurora.
