Ms. Carol Faye Dickson, age 63, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 5, 1961, in Van Wert, Ohio. She was the daughter of Doyt D. Dickson, whom preceded her in death and Mary (Pollock) Dickson Bohnsack. Raised in her hometown of Van Wert, Ohio, Carol dedicated her life to caring for others. Carol’s compassionate nature was evident in her various professional roles. She served as a certified nursing assistant at Hearth & Home of Ohio, where she supported residents with daily living activities for five years. Her experience also included working as a technician for Renal Care Group, where she programmed dialysis machines and assessed clients, as well as being a driver and inventory manager at Meadow Lane Place. Additionally, she held positions as an office assistant at H Meyers Company and as a general laborer at Toledo Molding & Die. Beyond her professional life, Carol was an avid painter and enjoyed wood crafts, often channeling her creativity into her hobbies. She had a passion for traveling and cherished the time spent with her family, whom she loved deeply. Carol is remembered for her generous spirit and her unwavering commitment to taking care of people. Carol peacefully passed away at 10:53 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.
Carol will be missed by her daughter, Lacy Christman and her husband, Daniel of Madison, IN; her son, Kyle Caldwell of Van Wert, OH; her mother, Mary (Pollock) Dickson Bohnsack of Van Wert, OH; her grandchildren, Allison (Anthony) Buzard, Tanner Caldwell, Chloe Caldwell, Kyler Caldwell, Brenin Christman, Danilyn Christman, Gauge Caldwell and Kaily Caldwell; her great-grandchildren, Camden Buzard, Emerson Buzard and Roman Caldwell; her brothers, Brad Dickson and his wife, Deb of Van Wert, OH, Travis Dickson and his wife, Michelle of Van Wert, OH and Tony Dickson and his wife, Pam of Van Wert, OH and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Doyt D. Dickson; her son, Chad Michael Caldwell, died November 4, 2016 and her step-father, Jim Bohnsack.
Memorial Services will be conducted in Convoy, Ohio.
