Mrs. Patricia Ann (Morehead) Gibson, affectionately known as Trish

Mrs. Patricia Ann (Morehead) Gibson, affectionately known as Trish, passed away at 7:16 a.m., Sunday, August 18, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Born on October 7, 1960, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Trish attended Aurora High School and had a varied career, including working at a restaurant in Aurora, serving as a janitor for Cincinnati Airport for three years, and later for Hollywood Casino for four years. Trish had a passion for gardening, nurturing both vegetable and flower gardens that brought her joy. She loved music, often listening to her favorite songs, including “Kentucky Rain” and “Wagon Wheel.” Trish was also an avid bingo player, enjoying evenings at the Aurora Moose Lodge on Tuesday evenings and the Aurora VFW Post #2629 on Friday evenings. Married to Ausburn “Billy” Gibson, Sr. on February 14, 2003, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, she cherished the time spent with her husband and family. Trish found immense joy in cooking and was known for hosting Thanksgiving dinners that brought her loved ones together. A former faithful member of Cavehill Christian Church in Versailles, Indiana, Trish had a generous spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she created countless cherished memories. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those she touched.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Ausburn “Billy” Gibson, Sr. of Rising Sun, IN; her daughters, April Croom and her husband, Norman of Lacomb, LA and Kathy Keith of Aurora, IN; her son, Ronald Keith and his wife, Rebecca of Falmouth, KY; her step-daughter, Lena King and her husband, Kevin of Harrison, OH; her grandchildren, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Carson, Brayden, Brent and Sierra; her great-grandchildren; her brothers, Darryl Gibbs and his wife, Jamie of Dillsboro, IN and Bryan Gibbs and his wife, Tracy of Aurora, IN; her sister, Cheryl Gibbs of Lawrenceburg, IN; her close aunt, Gladys Gibbs of Milan, IN and her nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Clay and Lorena Mae (Morehead) Gibbs; her infant son, Timmy Morehead and her step-son, Ausburn William Ben “BJ” Gibson, Jr.

Patricia’s wishes were to be cremated with a celebration of her life at the convenience of the family.
