Mrs. Pamela Lynn “Pam” (Tandy) Hambrick

Mrs. Pamela Lynn “Pam” (Tandy) Hambrick, age 70, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on September 12, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Joe “Jack” Tandy and Wanda Louise (Hatton) Tandy Sullivan. She was raised in Switzerland County and was a 1970 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. After high school, Pam went to the Cincinnati Modeling School. Pam was united in marriage in October 1971 to Kerry “Buck” Dorton in Owensville, Missouri. This union was blessed with a son, Shane and a daughter, Shannon. Pam was later united in marriage to Harold “Dean” Hambrick at the Vevay Church of Christ in Vevay, Indiana. Pam was a wonderful homemaker and loved baking and cooking. She also enjoyed fishing and hunting for arrowheads. Pam passed away at 11:59 a.m., Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Pam will be missed by her husband, Harold “Dean” Hambrick of Vevay, IN; her children, Shane Dorton and his wife, Christie of Linn, MO and Shannon Whelchel and her wife, Jennifer Martin of Lake Ozark, MO; her step-children, Angela Splain and her husband, Mike of Vevay, IN, Katrina Hambrick of Miami, FL and Stephanie Perez of Mount Orab, OH; her grandchildren, Ethan Whelchel, Kayla Dorton and Hayley Dorton; her step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jackie Fugate and her husband, Henry of Scottsburg, IN, Lisa Rieman of East Enterprise, IN, Pat Sullivan and his wife, Phyllis of Scottsburg, IN, William “Bill” Sullivan and his wife, Rosemary of Madison, IN, Ted Sullivan and his wife, Linda of Madison, IN and Clayton and Charles Tandy and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe “Jack” Tandy; her mother, Wanda Louise (Hatton) Tandy Sullivan; her step-father, Warren T. “Jack” Sullivan; her grandparents, Leslie Hatton, James Cecil “Petie” Mathews, Louise Ferguson Mathews, Charles R. Tandy, Lillian Mae Tingle Houze and Wilbur R. “Jack” Houze, Sr.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
