Mrs. Donna Marlene (Webster) Bush

Mrs. Donna Marlene (Webster) Bush, age 75 of Bear Branch, Indiana, entered this life on December 9, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Robert Wendell Webster and Georgia Bell (Hon) Webster Overbay. She graduated from Walton Verona High School, class of 1966. Following her passion for beauty and aesthetics, Donna pursued her beautician license from the Marinello School of Beauty in Cincinnati, Ohio. Donna was united in marriage to James Earl Bush on February 10, 1968 at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona, Kentucky. This happy union was blessed with two sons, Aaron and Jason. Throughout her life, Donna had a diverse career that showcased her talents and dedication. She worked for Cincinnati Bell for a few years, served as a beautician in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent five years at Mite Federal Savings and Loan in Madison, Indiana. In 1984, she joined St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky, where she dedicated 38 years to the medical records department, retiring in 2022. Donna was a beloved member of the Bear Branch community, where she and her husband had resided since the 70’s. Donna was a member of the Brushy Fork Baptist Church in Pleasant, Indiana. In her leisure time, Donna found joy in gardening, cooking, and baking, often delighting her family with her culinary creations. She loved spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and enjoying camping, going on cruises and bus tours. Donna also enjoyed playing games on her tablet and coloring, often expressing her creativity through these hobbies. Her warm spirit, kindness, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew her. Donna leaves a legacy of love, creativity, and dedication that will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life. Donna passed away at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024, with her loving family by her side at her home in Bear Branch, Indiana.

Donna will be deeply missed by her husband, James Earl Bush of Bear Branch, IN; her sons, Aaron Bush of Bear Branch, IN and Jason Bush and his wife, Leslee of Aurora, IN; her grandchildren, Tyler James Bush, Cailin Furr and her husband, Christian, Morgan Bush and Brayden Bush; her step-father, Buddy Overbay and his companion, Rhonda Bowling of Verona, KY; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Kimberly Ann Bush of Logan, IN and her niece, Abby Barnes and her husband, Brandon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wendell Webster, died September 5, 1964; her mother, Georgia Bell (Hon) Webster Overbay, died May 28, 2010 and her nephew, Andrew Michael Bush, died October 28, 2005.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, by Bro. George Naylor, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Indiana.
