Mrs. Anna Lorene (Hastings) Pratt, age 93, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on May 10, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Stanley Hastings and Anna Belle (Chapman) Tevis-Brown. Anna was united in marriage to Garvey “Vernon” Robinson on March 15, 1952 in Switzerland County, Indiana. Anna was later united in marriage to Raymond M. “Ray” Pratt on February 9, 1996 in Carrollton, Kentucky and they shared over eight years of marriage together. Anna was a former waitress for restaurants in Rising Sun, Indiana. She also worked in the patio and garden department for Walmart in Kissimmee, Florida. She was a homemaker and enjoyed riding horses in her younger years of life. She also enjoyed traveling, working word search puzzles, collecting rooster decor, and socializing with neighbors. Anna passed away at 1:17 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.
Anna is survived by her sons, William “Stanley” Robinson of Vevay, IN, and Kyle Ray Robinson and his wife, Evonna of Moorefield, IN; her step-sons, Donn and David Pratt; her step-grandchildren, Scotti Sullivan and her husband, Bryan, and Travis Chatham; and her step-great-grandchildren, Wyatt Chatham and Natalie Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Hastings, died February 13, 1964; her mother, Anna Belle (Chapman) Tevis-Brown, died July 6, 1997; her husband, Raymond M. “Ray” Pratt, died November 29, 2004; her sons, Harold Vernon Robinson, died February 26, 1977, and Perry Lewis Robinson, died April 14, 1993; her step-son, Cecil Vernon “Butch” Robinson, died December 14, 2025; her brother, Benjamin Earl “Bennie” Hastings, died June 22, 2000; her sister-in-law, Lucy E. (Ziegler) Hastings, died March 8, 2012; and her step-daughter-in-law, Judy Kay (Kiny) Robinson, died December 18, 1982.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026, by Pastor Mike Barnes in the Vevay Cemetery, 800 East Main Street, Vevay, Indiana.
