More than 4,000 positive COVID-19 cases reported across Indiana Tuesday

STATEWIDE — The Indiana Department of Health on Tuesday reported 4,057 new COVID-19 cases along with 90 deaths across the state.

Ripley County reported 24 positive cases; Dearborn County had 22, and Franklin and Decatur counties each reported 13 new cases.

There were no deaths reported in the area on Tuesday.

Since March 2020, Ripley County has recorded 5,867 cases and 94 deaths; Franklin County totals 3,072 positives and 44 deaths; Decatur County has confirmed 4,815 cases and 111 deaths, and Dearborn County has reported 9,271 positive cases and 103 deaths.

Across the state, 1,166,283 people have tested positive, while 17,563 people have died from the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.
