Moores Hill woman injured in crash on US 50 near Versailles

RIPLEY COUNTY, IN — A Moores Hill woman was injured in a one-car crash on US 50 near Cave Hill Road east of Versailles shortly before 5:30 last Saturday morning.

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says a white 2019 Kia Optima driven by 23-year-old Lindsay S. Kervin-Suesz left the road and struck a tree when the driver was distracted by the radio.

Kervin-Suesz was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Ripley County Emergency Medical Services after being extracted from the vehicle by the Versailles Volunteer Fire Department.

She was then transported to St Elizabeth Hospital in Dearborn County.

The vehicle was towed by Todd’s Affordable Wrecker Service.

The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
