Miss Jennifer Ann “Jenny” Robinson, age 46, was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and niece. Jenny entered this life on May 28, 1978, in Madison, Indiana to Steven Lynn “Steve” and Kathryn Marie “Kathy” (Dick) Robinson. Jenny and Kathy had an unwavering mother daughter bond. From the very beginning, Kathy devoted herself to caring for Jenny’s every need, and their relationship was filled with love and support. Jenny was not only a cherished daughter but also an amazing sister and aunt. She was raised in Patriot, Indiana and attended school in Madison, Indiana. Jenny was known for her radiant smile that could light up any room and had a devoted love for her family. She loved spending time outdoors, often enjoying walks with her mother, and had a profound appreciation for all animals, particularly cats, who loved to curl up on her lap. Jenny was a faithful follower of Christ, and cherished her time spent at the Community Church of the Nazarene in Greensburg, Indiana. She previously attended Rising Sun Church of the Nazarene and Temple Baptist Church in Patriot, Indiana. Jenny had a delightful sense of humor and a heart full of love, traits that were admired by everyone who knew her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including watching Mister Rogers on television, which reflected her gentle spirit and listening to uplifting music. Jenny flew into the arms of Jesus at 8:06 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jenny’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her.
Jenny will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Steven Lynn “Steve” and Kathryn Marie “Kathy” (Dick) Robinson of Greensburg, IN; her sisters, Amy Griffith of Florence, IN, Angela Deak and her husband, Sean of Columbus, IN and Cynthia Fryer and her husband, Jerry of Moores Hill, IN; her nieces and nephews, Trayton, Kinsley, Analyse and Kendall Griffith and Rachel, Julia and Ethan Deak; her aunts and uncles, Susie Centers of Lexington, KY, Debbie Dick of Dayton, OH, Julie Cox of Carlisle, OH, Eddy Robinson of Crossville, TN and Norman and Melodie Dick of Xenia, OH and her several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal-grandparents, Norman D. and Ruth M. (Smith) Robinson; her maternal-grandparents, Norman and Erma Jean (Bailey) Dick; her brother-in-law, Travis Griffith; her uncle, Larry Cox; her infant aunt, Cynthia Jo Robinson; her nephew, Zach Deak and her cousin, Ryan Welch.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
A Celebration of Jenny’s beautiful life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025, by her Pastor Perry Cook, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery in Patriot, Indiana.
