Greensburg blanked South Ripley 9-Nil in boys soccer last night. Pirate senior Cy Miller scored four goals and broke the school record for career goals with 56, eclipsing the previous mark set by Tyler Burcham in 2012.
Miller’s younger brother Jacoby scored a goal of his own while assisting two of Cy’s goals. Sophomore Ethan Smith scored a goal and assisted on two others. John Robbins found the net as did junior George Slaven, who scored his first career goal.
Other assists for the Pirates included a pair from freshman Wyatt Yake and one from sophomore Bryson Chilton.
In goal for the Pirates, sophomores Colin Osborn and Andrew Bowman combined for the shutout.
The Pirates are now 5-2 overall and 1-0 in the EIAC.
They are next on the pitch Saturday when they travel to Switzerland County for a march starting at 3 p.m.
