Mildred Schaedel, of Sunman, was born on January 10, 1934 in Batesville, a daughter to Arthur and Teresa Miller Smith. She graduated high school and later married Robert Schaedel. She worked for AT&T and attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She loved shopping, going out to eat and spending time with her great nieces and nephews. On February 21, 2020 at the age of 86, she passed away at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
Those surviving who will honor Mildred’s memory include her sister, Mary Fry of Greensburg; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six siblings, Harold Smith, Louis Smith, Sr. Constance Smith, Norbert Smith, Rita Schneider, and Carl Smith.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 11a.m. until 1p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Father Vincent Lampert will officiate the funeral service at the funeral home at 1p.m. Cremation will follow.
