DEARBORN COUNTY, IN — A Milan woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash that happened on US 50 in western Dearborn County around 8:30 pm Tuesday.
Indiana State Police say a semi pulling a trailer, driven by 50-year-old Andrew Plowman of Berea, Kentucky exited a fueling station on the south side of US 50 near Lake Dilldear onto westbound US 50 when, for an unknown reason, a westbound car driven by 31-year-old Felicia Fraasman collided with the back of Plowman’s trailer.
Fraasman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dearborn County Coroner’s Office.
Plowman was not injured.
The investigation by ISP is ongoing, with toxicology reports pending.
The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, the Dillsboro Fire Department, Dearborn County EMS, and the Dearborn County Coroner’s Office all assisted ISP at the scene.
