Ripley County, In. — Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies say a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Milan youth lost control and rolled several times trying to avoid a farm implement Friday around 5 p.m.
Triston Harvey told police he was late for work and driving at a high rate of speed when he came to the crest of a hill on County Road 625 E near County Road 75 N. Harvey overcorrected when he swerved and rolled several times. When deputies arrived the vehicle was inverted and in the middle of the roadway.
Harvey was issued several citations and transported to Margaret Mary Health for treatment. The driver of the farm vehicle was not injured but a hay wagon was destroyed.
