Unedited South Ripley report from coach Stacey Eaglin: Going in to the ORVC, our plan was personal best times and the swimmers achieved just that. If you look closely at a few of the races, swimmers missed 1st at times by hundredths of a second. Some intense races to watch.
I’m very proud of the swimmers and look forward to the next few races before sectionals! Some highlights:
Darcie Diem 2nd in 200 Free and 100 Free
Olivia Kavanaugh 3rd in 50 Free
Evan Eaglin 3rd in 50 Free. Best race I seen in a long time! and 2nd in 500 Free
Darcie Diem broke her record in 200 Free with a new record time of 2:12.57
