Milan High School to host “CARES Got Talent” show July 30

MILAN, IN — Milan High School CARES organization is planning an all-ages talent show “CARES Got Talent” for Ripley County residents to showcase their talents on Saturday, July 30 beginning at 1:30 pm in the Milan High School cafetorium.

CARES stands for Changes, Action, Resources, Empowerment, and Support.

Special Guest and Milan native Jamie Johnson – formerly with the bluegrass-country group The Grascals – will start the event, which will go on until 4:30 pm that day.

Concessions will be available and, after the talent show, there will be games for the kids.

Tryouts for “CARES Got Talent” will be held Wednesday, July 13 from 4-6 pm in the MHS cafetorium.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the CARES Central program.
