Milan boys win at Switzerland County Track Invite

On Thursday night, Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, and South Ripley competed at the Switzerland County invite with New Washington, Rising Sun, Southwestern Hanover, and Shawe Memorial.

Jac-Cen-Del won two individual titles on the boys side, with Corbin White taking first place in Shot Put (41’5″)  and the Discus (128’8″).

Individually for Milan, Ben Riehle won the 100-meter dash (11.50),  the 400-meter dash (50.93), and the 200-meter dash (22.96); Ayden Potts was champion in the 1600-meter run (4:48.08), the 800-meter run (2:05.70), and the 3200-meter run (10:34.99); Austin Green took home wins in the High Jump (6″0′) and Long Jump (18″ 7.25′); and Mason Green won the 300-meter hurdles (43.06).

Milan swept the relays, winning the 4×800 (9:11.68), the 4×100 (45.76), and the 4×400 (3:37.45).

Individually for South Ripley, Emily Flood won the 100-meter dash (13.38), the 100-meter hurdles (15.73), the 200-meter dash (27.65), and the High Jump (4’8″); Shelby Bastin got 1st in the 1600-meter run (5:46.42); and Alexa Yeomans was victorious in the 300-meter hurdles (53.31).

For Milan, it was Josie Halvin take home a win in the 400-meter dash (1:05.96).
