(Milan, IN) – Milan American Legion Post #235 recently awarded Safe Passage $14,000 to help with the nonprofit’s crisis response outreach services and fill a significant budget shortfall this year.
The Legionnaires, the Sons of the American Legion, and the Legion Auxiliary of Milan all contributed to the allocation.
Safe Passage provides free support services including shelter for domestic and sexual violence survivors and their children in its six-county service area which is made up of Ripley, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, and Jefferson counties.
