South Decatur’s Braxton Evans plus North Decatur’s Adam Whatley and Landon Rohls are the Mid-Indiana Football Conference offensive, defensive and special teams players of the week, respectively.
Evans completed 13 of 19 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in the Cougars’ 36-34 loss to Paoli in Week 6.
Whatley had four solo tackles, two assists, a forced fumble, three tackles for loss for minus-16 yards and a sack in the Chargers’ 28-6 win over Linton-Stockton.
His teammate Rohls is the co-special teamer of the week after he booted five kickoffs for 244 yards for a 49-yard average and was 2-for-2 on extra point attempts.
