The BMS 7th Grade Volleyball team won the second round of tourney against Jac-Cen-Del 25-12 and 25-15. Ava Powner was our top server with serving 19 points and 6 being aces. Lydia Haskamp, Kate Bauer, Sophie Gesell, and Sarah Bedel all had 1 ace. Annie Negovetich and Molly Meer each had 1 kill. Addison Westrick and Addyson Weiler played great defense with great passes. Alyson Peters had 2 good hits. Their record is 11-2! The girls advance to the finals on Thursday night at St. Louis! Come cheer us on!

The St. Louis 8th Grade Volleyball team struggled to wrap up the match against the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles 14-25, 25-19, 15-7.
The Cardinals started the first set strong with solid serving but struggled with their serves in the 2nd and 3rd set. Even though the Cardinals moved well on the court, the Eagles were able to pick up most of what was sent their way especially when the ball was sent to the middle of the court. Kate Weber served 12 points followed by Isabelle Wonnell 7 points, Rhea Miller 6 points, Lilly Schebler 2 points, and Ella Moster 1point. Ingrid Tuveson, Maggie Beiser and Ava Owens worked hard in the back row to pass the ball to Isabella Wonnell and Kate Weber so the offense could be setup. Claire Saner, Catherine Streator and Rhea Miller have several hits in the front row. The Cardinals finished the season 8-4, 2nd in the Cardinal Classic and out in the second round of the SEI tournament.
