Greensburg, IN — The Decatur County Animal Shelter is offering to microchip your pet for $40.
Microchips are a permanent way to ID your pet if they were to get lost. There is a registry that will have all of your contact information and helps increase the odds your animal will make it back home if they become lost. They can be checked each year at a veterinarian’s office to make sure the chip is still in place and some companies offer lost-pet alerts.
