Michael S. Thatcher, 53, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Thursday November 1, 2018 in Florence, Kentucky.
He was born July 30, 1965 in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late Cecil Thatcher and Theda (Foster) Thatcher.
Mike worked in auto body and as a mechanic for Taylor Enterprises in Petersburg, Kentucky, with over 15 years of service.
Mike enjoyed riding his motorcycle, racing and hanging out with his friends. He collected Harley memorabilia. Mike enjoyed going to his children’s sports events, and time with his family was his greatest joy.
Mike is survived by his loving spouse Stephanie Thatcher (Corcoran), children, Jeremy (Erin) Anderson of Elizabethtown, OH; Wyatt, Elena and Ryan Thatcher of Lawrenceburg, IN; brothers, James (Vicky) Thatcher of Lawrenceburg, IN; John “Rob” (Karen) Thatcher of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Luke, Landon, Lane, Delilah and Waylon Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received Monday, November 5, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Timothy Halloran officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rising Sun New Cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana.
