Michael Louis Cornett, 71, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
He was born October 19, 1949, in Washington, DC, son of the late William Cornett and Mary (Fouch) Cornett.
He served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Michael worked as a Tool & Die Maker with the Steel Workers Union.
He was a member of Aurora VFW and the Veterans Administration.
Michael used to enjoy fishing.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (Cole) Cornett, step children, Anthony (Tasha) Carpenter, Thomas Carpenter (Sarah Scudder), Jessica Baker, and Emily Carpenter; step grandchildren, Colton, Katelyn, Tiffany, Brittany and Lexi Carpenter, Anna, Nick and Kairi Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
