Michael L. Marine, 67, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Monday June 25, 2018 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born October 12, 1950 in Bath, NY, son of the late Harry Marine and Mary (Bacille) Leftwich.
Michael was a member of the Local Carpenters Union.
He was a member of the Aurora American Legion and the Lawrenceburg and Aurora Eagles.
Michael enjoyed vegetable gardening, playing cards, golf and listening to albums. He was a Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and Indiana Hoosiers Fan.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Heather (Richard) Strasemeier of Aurora, IN; siblings, Joey (Andi) Marine of Westfield, IN. and Teresa (Brian) Stewart of Champagne, IL; grandchildren, Adam & William Strasemeier; and significant other, Cecelila Bonta.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael R. Marine.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 28, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.
