(Batesville, IN) – St. Louis 7th grade students recently welcomed Batesville Mayor John Irrgang to their class to learn about the city’s plans for the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8 and the impact it will have on the community.
Students will showcase what they learned about solar eclipses and Batesville’s plans in a presentation that will be put together to share with their peers.
Also, the students were informed how the Mayor uses the same life skills in his job that they are learning at St. Louis. Mayor Irrgang says he must collaborate with other area mayors and officials, prioritize his agenda, and back up his decisions with strong evidence. He says must also listen to residents and consider the best options for the good of the city.
