May Primary voting deadlines set in Franklin County

BROOKVILLE, IN — The last day to register to vote or to transfer your registration is Monday, April 4, 2022, by 4 pm in the Franklin County Clerk’s Office.

You may also register to vote online or update your registration at www.indianavoters.com.

Also, check your precinct and polling location where you are registered to vote.

Tuesday, April 5, 2022, is the first day that a voter may vote an absentee primary election ballot before the absentee voter board in the Franklin County Courthouse at 459 Main Street in Brookville. Those hours are:

  • April 5 thru April 8, 8:30 am to 4 pm.
  • April 11 thru April 14, 8:30 a.m. to 4 pm.
  • April 18 thru April 22, 8:30 a.m. to 4 pm.
  • April 25 thru April 29, 8:30 a.m. to 4 pm.

Saturday hours are as follows:

  • April 23, 8:00 a.m. to 3 pm.
  • April 30, 8:00 a.m. to 3 pm.

Monday, May 2, at noon, is the last day to vote an absentee ballot before the absentee voter board in the Clerk’s Office.

Those voters who wish to vote by mail or have the traveling board come to their house to vote may contact the Clerk’s office for an Absentee Ballot Application.
