Mary Rose Metcalf, age 70, of Brookville, Indiana died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at her residence in Brookville.
Born October 1, 1947 in Brookville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late J.P. “Bud” & Earsley (Scott) Metcalf. She was a lifelong resident of Brookville, and had retired from Sperry Rubber & Plastics in Brookville after 32 years of service.
She had attended the Plum Grove Pentecostal Church. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching the birds outside.
Survivors include her daughter, Trista Williams of Metamora, Indiana; six grandchildren, Traiely Metcalf, Austin Williams, Waylon Grubb, Rhialane Grubb, Bryleigh Grubb, and Harley Grubb; three sisters, Virginia Mundy of Brookville, Indiana, Edna (Tony) Krawczak of Chicago, Illinois, and Mae Brockway of Florida; and a brother, Delbert (Diane) Metcalf of Brookville, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Jean Canada and Natalie Metcalf; as well as two brothers, John C. Metcalf and Clarence Metcalf.
