Mary (Richards) Addison, 65, of Moores Hill, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Mary was born on June 24, 1961, in Pasco County, Florida, the daughter of Donald and Ernestine (Gordon) Richards. On February 8, 1997, she married the love of her life, Michael “Mike” Addison, who survives her.
Mary worked as a truck driver for Werner Enterprises for five years before later working as a hostess at the Red Roof Inn. She was a devoted member of Holman Christian Union Church and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and going out to eat with her husband. Most of all, Mary loved being a mother to her children and a mother figure to many others she knew and loved.
Mary will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Pastor Michael “Mike” Addison of Moores Hill; her sons, Joe Addison of West Chester, Ohio, and Jacob Addison of Miamitown, Ohio; her sisters, Betty (Bob) Cummings of Milan and Tena (Steve) Heller of Bear Branch; her sister-in-law, Tabitha Ratliff; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ernestine Richards; her daughter, Khristy Taulbee; and her brother-in-law, Mark Ratliff.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Mary from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7th, 2026, at Holman Christian Union Church, 2020 N. Hogan Road, Aurora, IN 47001. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Rick Burcham officiating. Burial will follow at Green Cemetery.
