Mary L. Tice, 90, of Guilford, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023, at home, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born December 24, 1932, in Lawrenceburg, IN, daughter of the late Charles Lee Garrison and Ada (Sefton) Garrison.
Mary enjoyed gardening (or Supervising) with her husband. She was an avid reader, liked to watch television, and enjoyed feeding and bird watching. Mary loved her dogs, Darby, and Bear Bear. Her passion was her family, and the time she spent with them.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Karen (late, Robert) Powell of Guilford, IN, Beverly Cottingham of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Melissa Edwards of Guilford, IN, Kelly (John) Hill of Moody, AL, Shawn (Jenna) Loar of Liberty Twp, OH, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Cottingham, Matthew (Molly) Cottingham; great-grandchildren, Cortney (Chris) Carson, Kayla Edwards, Cadence Cottingham, Dezi Cottingham, Xavier Cottingham; great great grandchildren, Holden, Kyler, Elyse, and Cecilia.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles Lee and Ada Garrison; her loving husband of almost 60 years, Oka Edward Tice, Jr.; and 9 siblings.
Friends will be received Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Wednesday at 1:00 pm, immediately following visitation with Pastor Mark Kessen officiating.
Interment will follow in the Wilmington Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
