Martha Juanita Elizabeth Young Scearce, 81, was born in Sardinia, Ohio on May 31, 1943, and passed on October 5, 2024, at her home in Aurora, Indiana. She was the third oldest of seven children of John William and Mary Alice (Faul) Young.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Buddy Gene Scearce, of Aurora, Indiana, three daughters, Cindy Scearce Bickley (Dan) of Delaware, Ohio, Tammy Fain Heminger (Wayne) of Morrow, Ohio and Tracey Scearce Young (Jeff) of South Lebanon, Ohio, and two sons Timothy Fain (Kim) of Sparta, Kentucky and Alex Scearce (Nancy) of Maineville, Ohio.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Alice; brother, Randy Young; sister, Debbie Peters.
Juanita worked as an Engine Mechanic for General Electric, with many years of service. She was a member of the Aurora Moose and Aurora American Legion.
Juanita loved traveling, boating, playing poker, and spending time with her family.
Services will be held at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, 513 W. Pike Street, Morrow, Ohio 45152 on October 12, 2024, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Immediately following, there will be a celebration of Juanita’s life at the Morrow VFW Post 8202, 120 Highlawn Avenue, Morrow, Ohio 45152 on October 12, 2024, from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm. Family and guests are invited to attend.
