Marnie Kay Land, 50, of Lawrenceburg, died on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at her residence after an extended illness.
Marnie was born in Lawrenceburg to Clifford and Mary Nanney Land on August 25, 1970. She worked as a secretary at Hair Performers and she was a member of the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church. Marnie loved doing crafts, going shopping, playing board games and especially spending time with her daughter, Synclaire, and other family members.
Marnie is survived by her daughter: Synclaire Anderson and husband Matthew of Indianapolis; Her mother: Mary Mitchell of Lawrenceburg; a sister: Christina Burton and husband James of Harrison, OH; two nephews: Bailey Henson and Brycen Crooker; and two nieces: Kaylee Burton and Lily Burton. Marnie was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Land; her step-father: Lonnie Mitchell Sr.; and her paternal grandparents: Donald and Margaret Land.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home ~ 107 Vine Street ~ Sunman, with Pastor Crystal Jacobson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family by making checks payable to Synclaire Anderson.
