Mark Alois Rutzel, 60, of Moores Hill passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at his home with his loving family at his side. Mark was born on Monday, September 16, 1963, in Cincinnati; son of Alois and Bonnie (Nadaud) Rutzel. Mark married the love of his life, Candice “Candy” (Phillips) Rutzel on October 23, 1992, and she survives him. Mark worked at Parmaco as a purchasing agent. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.
Mark will be missed by his wife Candice “Candy” Rutzel of Moores Hill; sons Ian (Asha) Rutzel of Moores Hill and Seth (Haley) Rutzel of Moores Hill; daughters Melanie (Michael) Keigi of Friday Harbor, Washington and Erin (Kyle) Leonard of Columbus; brother David (Destiny) Rutzel of Hidden Valley; niece Chloe Rutzel; nephew Easton Rutzel; grandchildren Morgan, Hayden, Henry, Emmeline, Eloise, June, and Harper; and great-grandchildren Zoey and Olivia.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Alois and Bonnie Rutzel and brother Michael Rutzel.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Moores Hill American Legion. Memorials may be given in honor of Mark to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
