Marjorie Beatrice Frye, 93, of Peppertown, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born in Peppertown, Indiana on January 20, 1929 to parents William and Beatrice (Green) Alley.
Marjorie liked being out in the yard, gardening, quilting, and reading. She always enjoyed her time on the farm as well. Marjorie loved her church and her family.
She is survived by her children, Melodie Busch (Bill), Karen Ziegler (Jerry), Vicki Brooks (Wayne), Marilyn Shafer (Chuck), Randy Frye (Debbie), and David Frye (Tamie); grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) Busch, Michael (Allison) Busch, David Busch, Melanie (Jack) Schiller, Jeremy Ziegler, Ryan (Kryan) Vazquez, Patrick (Elizabeth) Vazquez, Andrew Brooks, Suzanne (Scott) Miller, Steve (Jennifer) Frye, Jenifer (Shawn Yeager) Shafer, Lindsay (Kyle) Klene, Erin Shafer, Christopher Frye, Logan Frye, Caleb Frye, and Lydia Frye; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Reece, Brinlee, and Graham Busch; Carlee Busch; Alexis and Connor Schiller; Hilary, Anna, Jordan, and Kelsey Ziegler; Ava and Huxley Vazquez; Hannah Miller; Avery, Silas, Nolan, and Chaille Frye; Austin Shafer and Brayden Yeager; and Kasen and Callie Klene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Frye; her parents; sisters, Bonnie Maupin and Shirley Henschen; brother, Bill Alley; granddaughter, Carrie Busch; and great-granddaughter, Megan Miller.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with funeral services on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM all at New Point Christian Church in New Point, Indiana. The funeral service will be livestreamed through the New Point Christian Church Facebook page. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
