Marjorie Ann (Pate) Martin/Gamble, 87, of Cincinnati, formerly of Milan, passed away December 4, 2023, at Cottingham’s Retirement in Cincinnati. Marjorie was born on Wednesday, February 12, 1936, in Milan; daughter of George and Alma (Felix) Pate. Marjorie worked for 41 years as the manager of the Bureau of Employment Services in Cincinnati. Marjorie enjoyed watching sports on TV, and most of all loved her dogs.
Marjorie will be missed by her sons Raymond Martin of Cincinnati and Charles Martin of Cincinnati; brother Jim Davis; sister Peggy Davis; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents George and Alma Pate; son James Martin; daughters Susan Ogden and Marcia Sinclair; sister Betty Shadday; daughter-in-law Anita Martin; and son-in-law Bill Ogden.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Marjorie from 10:30 AM- 12:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will take place at New Cravens Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Marjorie to the American Diabetes Association.
