Marian A. Bentle, 92, of Milan, IN, formerly of Aurora, IN, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Milan, IN.
She was born May 22, 1930, in Wilmington, IN, daughter of the late Carl Wesemann and Elma (Kaiser) Wesemann.
She was a member of St John Lutheran Church Aurora, LWML member (Ladies Aide) where she served as secretary, Marian was the custodian of the church for several years. She also was a member of the Hogan Township Home Ec Club. Marian enjoyed cooking. Time with her family was most important to her.
Marian is survived by her loving children, Michael (late Cheryl) Bentle of Lawrenceburg, IN, Patricia Smither of East Enterprise, IN, Nancy Rumsey of Moores Hill, IN; son-in-law, Daniel Vorbroker, sisters, Doris Jean Wesemann of Gulf Breeze, FL, Shirley Daugherty of Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law, Corrine Wesemann; grandchildren, Cassidy (Steve) Wolf, Meghan Bentle, Penny Clayton, Emily Bradley, Casey (Nick) Kroger, Sara Vorbroker, Mitchell Vorbroker, Adam (Melinda) Rumsey, Ryan Rumsey. 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Husband, (married in 1951) Clayton A Bentle; Father, Carl Wesemann; Mother, Elma Carolyn Wesemann; Daughter, Jane Annette Vorbroker; Three Sisters, Linda M. Fortner, Elaine Luke, Jeanette Torokhanian; Brother, James E. Wesemann;
Friends will be received Saturday, May 6, 2023, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the St. John Lutheran Church Aurora, 220 Mechanic St.,Aurora, IN
Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church Aurora, Saturday, following visitation at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
