BATESVILLE, Ind. — Margaret Mary Health was recently named a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Health Association from a larger set of Top 100 critical access hospitals.
Top performing hospitals are identified through a ranking system called the Hospital Strength INDEX, a nationwide hospital rating system used to evaluate U.S. rural and community hospitals.
There are over 1300 small rural hospitals nationwide.
In addition, to being named in the Top 20, Margaret Mary Health was one of only two hospitals in Indiana named in the broader Top 100 list for 2016.
