Batesville, In. — Margaret Mary Health and the Hoxworth Blood Clinic will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, October 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Donor Bus outside the hospital.
To donate you must be in good general health and feeling well, at least 17-years-old or 16 with parental consent and weigh at least 110 pounds.
Statistics from the American Red Cross say 4.5 million Americans would die each year without life saving blood transfusions. About 32,000 pints of blood are used in the United States each day.
