Margaret Ann Wilhelm, age 88, of Batesville, Indiana passed away at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville on Monday, November 2, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1938, at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. She is the daughter of Joseph and Esther (nee Lightner) Hahn.
Margaret was a Cashier and Customer Service Manager at Kroger for 38 years before retiring in 2000.
Margaret is survived by her son Mike (Jackie) Wilhelm of Oldenburg, IN; daughter Melinda Wilhelm of Batesville, IN; sister Marian Meyer of Batesville, IN; grandchild Alex (Bailey) Wilhelm of Batesville, IN; great-grandchildren Charley, Danielle, and Ezra Wilhelm; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Janice Obermeyer; and brother-in-law(s) Richard Meyer and Francis Obermeyer.
Visitation will be Friday, November 6th, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Weigel Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m., with Rev. Stan Pondo officiating. The burial will immediately follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Batesville, Indiana.
