Marc William Brunner

Marc William Brunner 64, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away from an apparent heart attack on Monday, September 30, 2019.

He was born July 9, 1955 in Batesville, IN, son of the late Arthur Brunner and Maxine (Mattox) Brunner.

Marc worked for INDOT as a permit inspector at the Aurora Sub, he was well respected at work and truly loved his job of 34 years.

He was a Red Cross Volunteer for several years, and a member of the Young Republican Club.

Marc loved going on vacation with his wife, especially to Myrtle Beach, and looking for shark teeth. They broke their standing record and found over 4000 shark teeth back in September. He started his own tool sharpening business called “Marc It Sharp”. He was very passionate about helping other people, he would help strangers and family alike. He treated others like he wanted to be treated and had old fashioned values. Marc loved people and loved spending time with friends and family, he loved animals and everything on God’s earth. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Marc is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Debra Brunner (Gordon), daughter, Jena (Michael) King of Longview, TX; siblings: James (Martha) Sedler of Aurora, IN, Bonny (Jon) Prudhomme of Cadiz, KY, Helen (Jerry) Stow of Versailles, IN, Mary Jo (Rick) Sloan of Aurora, IN, Kerry Brunner of Aurora, IN, Ron (Tammy) Brunner of Vevay, IN, Robert (Marla) Brunner of Aurora, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 5-8 pm at the Aurora First Baptist Church, 6060 Blair Rd., Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at the church with Pastor Gordon Shinkle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro, Indiana.
