Osgood, IN–Sunday evening, Ripley County EMS was dispatched to Fairground Road in Osgood for a male that was bucked off a horse. Ripley County Communications was advised that the male, John Gayheart, 47, was unconscious.
Upon the arrival of Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, CPR was being performed by Ripley County EMS. Gayheart suffered injuries to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
